Our story
The community of Methodist church students in the Huye University branch is a group of Methodist students who preach the message in the University of Rwanda in the Huye branch. This organization started its activities in the university on March 24, 2001 after discussions Joshua MASUMBUKO who was the senior pastor of Butare gate and other pastors called a meeting to gather together the paternalistic students of the former university of Rwanda. After careful analysis of these issues, a committee was formed to bring these students together. He did his work until AJEMEL-UR, formerly AJEMEL-NUR (National University of Rwanda) came into existence. AJEMEL started with 220 members from the three groups mentioned above. This organization is also one of the organizations governed by the Union of Students of the Universities of Rwanda (URSU). This organization is also one of the organizations that preach the gospel of the king in the university (FEA or Forum of Evangelical Associations). It consists of students from the METHODISTE church.
The main purpose of this community is contained in these words in the French language "CHRIST POUR TOUS, PAR TOUT ET PAR TOUT LES MOYENS DES MAINTENANT ET A JAMAIS" It means (Jesus for all people, present in all ways from this time to eternity all.
This purpose required every person in this family to use all the gifts that God gave him in order to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ written in Matthew 24:18-20. As this message shows, this organization must be committed to BEING CHANGED/BRINGING CHANGE
